1. What they are
Cookies are small data files stored by a website in a browser. Local and session storage perform similar functions without automatically sending their contents to the server.
2. Essential technologies
- lulabtech_session: temporary HttpOnly and SameSite cookie used for sessions, security and CSRF tokens. It is removed when the browser closes or the session ends.
- lulab_language: remembers Spanish or English for up to one year.
- Attribution sessionStorage: temporarily keeps the source page and campaign parameters to associate them with an inquiry.
- lulab_cookie_consent_v2 in localStorage: remembers whether the person chose analytics or essential technologies only. It remains until the preference is changed or site data is cleared.
3. Security and third parties
When configured, Cloudflare Turnstile may receive technical data needed to identify automated traffic. Spline interactive content is deferred until interaction and may connect to external servers.
When following links to WhatsApp, Google or other providers, the person leaves the site and becomes subject to that provider's policies.
4. Analytics and advertising
The site may receive UTM, gclid or fbclid parameters in the URL and save them with an inquiry to identify its campaign source. This alone does not install a Lulab advertising cookie.
If you accept analytics, the site loads Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 to measure visits, page views and contact actions. Google may receive the visited URL, technical browser or device data, approximate location derived from the IP address and measured interactions. The _ga and _ga_<identifier> analytics cookies may be retained for up to two years, depending on configuration and browser controls.
If you accept analytics, the site also loads Microsoft Clarity to generate usage metrics, heatmaps and session replays that help identify navigation problems. Clarity may receive the visited URL, technical browser or device data and page interactions, and may use analytics cookies such as _clck and _clsk; sensitive field content is masked by default. Advertising storage remains denied.
If another non-essential tool is added in the future, this policy and the choice mechanism must be updated before it is activated.
5. How to control technologies
You can open “Cookie settings” in the footer to change your choice. You can also delete or block cookies from your browser. Blocking the session cookie may prevent forms, security or panel access. When analytics is withdrawn, the site communicates the withdrawal to Google and Microsoft Clarity, stops subsequent measurement and stores the new preference.
